#5 Web Design

I am keeping my fingers crossed; I may have found a web design course. Lets hope it all works out. I don't want to say anything else till I know for sure. I have tried to teach myself with HTML for Dummies but it was all like a foreign language.

I think I need someone to say and show, "This is how you do it," but then again. I may need to look at the book again.

#4 The Dugout Sports Lounge

I did a logo for a sports lounge for my cousin's friend. The sports bar is The Dugout Sports Lounge in Monroe Cite, MO.

I came up with three different logos, and this is the logo I came up with. It was nice to do something that I had a little more creativity.

This is the logo I designed on a coozie. I think it came out great. A sign for the outside of the bar has been ordered. I can't wait to see the finished product.

#3 Logos

Here is some more of the work I have done.

The first logo, Geodyssey Contracting, was for a construction company specializing in highway construction. This client wanted something different from another logo I designed for Jeff Lasseigne Construction which is featured later on in this post.

S.E.T.: This client didn't really know what exactly they want. I decided to make it look more businesslike. I chose blue because of two reasons. First, blue is my favorite color, and second the color blue is a calming color.

Jeff Lasseigne Construction is one of the first logos I had ever designed. The client wanted something masculine; he was also a huge fan of the New Orleans Saints. So I thought why not use the colors black and gold. The colors contrast each other. The gold stands out against the rich darkness of the black. It took a little but of twicking to get the cold to print right on the black.

As you can see, the logo was incorporated in various ways: (1) The letterhead, (2) business card, and (3) a t-shirt. We also did a baseball cap and something for his trailer truck, which stays on his construction sites.

#2 Our Work

Two blogs in one day....

In this blog, I will show you some of my previous work, but if you would like to see all of my work just visit .

This is an invitation that I did for a friend who was giving a "Honey Do Dat" shower. It was a cute idea. It was a shower basically for the groom. The theme was the New Orleans Saints. Guests were asked to wear the gameday gear.

This is our own logo, in the beginning stages. As you can tell, I added words to it to show what types of work I do.

These are images of my business cards. As you can tell, my favorite color is blue and I love the pattern I have on the back of my business cards.

This is all for now. I will be posting more things later. Enjoy!!!!
